MEOW WOLF
"Change Your Frequency," a psychedelic teaser celebrating the opening of “Radio Tave” at Meow Wolf Houston.
The film stars Houston rapper Fat Tony as a new-age, spiritual car salesman, inviting viewers on an interdimensional trip filled with eclectic visuals and Meow Wolf lore. The journey is a lo-fi, retro-future, handmade extravaganza that captures the spirit of the exhibit and culminates at the mysterious ETNL radio station, at the heart of the exhibit.
My role focused on the storytelling and art direction of the animation, establishing visual cues for frequency shifts and radio waves. Building a narrative around static glitches and creating styleframes to establish the world our 3D artists, illustrators, and animators played in.
